Accepted an order of 220 sets of portable solar LED lights and other products utilizing the large-capacitance capacitor, Premlis A5000 in the battery section. The Premlis A5000 has been developed for use in the areas of Bhutan without electricity supply, in collaboration with L-Kougen Co., Ltd. (Edogawa, Tokyo, Representative Director, President: Keita Kiyose). Funding is provided by the Asian Clean Energy Fund (ACEF) developed by the Asian Development Bank, and the LED lights are to be installed in schools, hospitals, and other public facilities in Bhutan. |

With the Waseda University Environmental Research Institute, ACT proposed a development project to the NEDO (New Energy and Industrial Technology Development Organization) and the project has been adopted. The development theme is “Grid Stabilization of PV Power Generation Systems with Lithium-Ion Capacitors”. We are aiming to develop a new PCS that may solve the problems of the grid interconnection. The development period will be August 2010 to July 2011. |
